The Symphony Presents "Romantic Scenes"


The Washington Idaho Symphony's new conductor and Music Director, Jeremy Briggs Roberts, leads the Washington Idaho Symphony and guest pianist, Dr. Jeffrey Savage in the upcoming concert "Romantic Scenes"

The Washington Idaho Symphony will be presenting its second concert of the season next weekend entitled "Romantic Scenes". The concert will be performed Saturday, November 7th at 7:30 pm in Domey (Gladish) Auditorium in Pullman and Sunday November 8th at 3:00 pm at the Lewiston High School Auditorium. "Romantic Scenes" will feature three luxurious pieces including Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 22, and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. The piano concerto will feature guest artist, Dr. Jeffrey Savage, Assistant Professor of Piano at Washington State University.

The Symphony will be offering a shuttle for Moscow Patrons, travelling to and from Domey (Gladish) Auditorium in Pullman. The shuttle bus will board in Moscow and deliver patrons to the doors of Gladish Auditorium, allowing them to avoid adverse driving and parking conditions. It is available for $10 per person and reservations can be made by contacting (509)332-3408.

Briggs Roberts will be hosting a talk 45 minutes prior to the start of each concert this season to discuss the work being performed at that concert.

Concert tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.washingtonidahosymphony.org, by calling (509)332-3408, or at the door if available. General admission is $18 per person. The Symphony welcomes young classical music enthusiasts by offering free admission to children who are accompanied by an adult.

Photo and Interview Opportunities
